About This
- WIRELESS BRIGHTNESS CONTROL: Manual or remote on/off and dimming control from your mobile device or computer (when included to a Z-Wave gateway controller - sold separately. Smart speakers are NOT Z-Wave hubs). Reports status instantly.
- NEW SIMPLE DIRECT 3-WAY: Patented solution for 3-way and 4-way installations! No add-on switch needed, no need to rewire the other boxes. Just wire the ZEN74 dimmer in the box with direct connection to power (it needs to replace an existing 3-way switch) according to the appropriate diagram. Works with mechanical 3-way switches (DON'T connect to other dimmers) as long as NEUTRAL is present.
- NEW 800 SERIES MODEL: Just 1.1" deep to easily fit in crowded and shallow boxes. 800 series Z-Wave chip for faster response time and better wireless range boosted by optimal antennae positioning. Long Range ready for ultra reliable direct hub-to-device communication (you need a LR hub to support this). Remembers and restores on/off status after power failure. Do NOT use as direct replacement for the ZEN24 model in 3-way set-ups, always follow the wiring in the manual.
- WORKS WITH YOUR HUB! Based on the universal multilevel command class - supported by most Z-Wave controllers (does NOT work directly with smart speakers). Lifetime tech support and 5-year extended warranty once registered.
- CHECK YOUR WIRING FIRST: Neutral wire is required to complete installation! Do NOT use the ZEN74 model as direct replacement for the older ZEN23 or ZEN24 switches - they wire differently in multi-point control set-ups, always follow the appropriate diagram or ask Zooz for help.
- SMOOTH DIMMING: Improved dimming capability for LED bulbs (scroll down for details, NOT compatible with Luminus, Lithonia, or Feit bulbs).

Yes — many modern devices support multiple platforms.
Matter-certified devices can work across Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit at the same time.
Not always.
Smart bulbs, plugs, cameras, and video doorbells are often easy DIY installations, while full security systems may need professional setup.
Many devices still work manually or through local control.
You may lose remote app access, but locks, lights, and thermostats often continue basic functions.
Security depends on the device and setup.
Use strong passwords, trusted brands, firmware updates, and secure Wi-Fi for better protection. Privacy and unauthorized access are common concerns in smart homes.
Most homeowners start with:
Smart Security Cameras
Smart Door Locks
Smart Thermostats
Smart Plugs
Video Doorbells
