Remote will NOT replace TR1001, TR1003, and TR1004 models' remotes or receivers, and will not work with any millivolt systems.

• ★ WIRING INSTRUCTIONS: ONLY qualified electrician / gas technician with the knowledge of gas appliances and gas valves that are permitted to install the remote control system. Incorrect wiring installation will damage the gas valve, electronic module of gas appliance and also the remote receiver.
• ★ PRE INSTALLATION: Decide the receiver box location, either wall-mounted in a standard switch box or near the fireplace (keep away from heat above 130°F). 1. Ensure the receiver box's slide switch is OFF before installation. 2. Use 18-inch wires and 18 gauge stranded or solid wire for best results. 3. Splice with the original black wires or replace them by inserting new wires into the slots. 4. Wires should not exceed 20 feet. Allow space for easy removal during battery replacement or checks.
• ★ TROUBLESHOOTING: If the remote control isn't working, check the following: (1) No battery or low battery -Replace the batteries in both the transmitter and receiver box. (2) Weak signal - Move the receiver box to a different location. (3) Out of range - Move both the receiver and transmitter closer together.
