About This
- Size: H 2-3/4" × W 1-1/8", Screw Holes Spaced 2-1/8". Matte Black, 2 PACK.
- What If for: Design to solve the problem of misalignment/jamming/sticking of deadbolt caused by door aging/shrinking. Solve problem that door won’t latch close and have to force/push/yank the door to get door fully closed. Solve the problem of electronic/smart locks running out of battery due to door not being fully closed.
- Features: Hole enlarged and one side narrowed to allow the latch throwing out and drawing back smoothly. The dimension of the opening is large enough to allow for seasonal ground movement. Compared with the C-shape design with one side cut off, this item still maintains a full metal structure to protect the door jamb from repeated strikes.
- Thicker Material: Constructed of durable stainless steel in silver finish. Thicker material to ensure better security and prevent deformation. Comes with long and short screws for installation.
- Wood Dowels Included: Comes with wooden dowels for filling the old screw holes (if needed). Fix the problem that the screw hole is oversized and the screw won’t tighten. Solution to fill the old screw hole and drill new pilot hole. You can fill the screw hole directly or apply glue to the wood dowels to secure them.
