- Stable Connection Requirements: For reliable performance, place the smart lock within 32 ft (10 m) of the gateway, and the gateway within 49 ft (15 m) of your router. During setup, ensure your phone and gateway are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (2.4G only).
